ESCNJ programs utilize assessment techniques to better determine student needs and evaluate the necessary steps to help determine the reasons why the behavior occurs. These techniques evolve and become an intregal part of how ESCNJ helps our students.
Applied Behavior Analysis at ESCNJ
ESCNJ programs for autistic students, based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, include Discrete Trial Teaching and a 2:1 student to classroom staff ratio. Our special education services are designed to meet the educational and behavioral needs of students ages 3-21 based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and/or Verbal Behavior. We strive to involve parents in a collaborative partnership with staff members.
