Student Eligibility Req.

To be eligible for services, students must meet the following requirements:

• Enrolled full time in a nonpublic elementary, secondary or Charter school, grades K-12, in New Jersey.
• Be between the ages of 5-20 for Chapter 192 services, or 5-21 for Chapter 193 services.
• Meet the criteria for eligibility for the specific service(s) as determined by law, code and/or regulations.
• Received written consent for services annually from parents/guardians.

Please note: Students living out of state attending a New Jersey nonpublic school may be eligible for some Chapter 193 services, subject to a child study team evaluation, mandated annual reviews and re-evaluations.
