ESCNJ Appoints Anthony La Marco as Assistant School Business Administrator for Business Operations

PISCATAWAY, NJ – May 27, 2021 – The Educational Services Commission of New Jersey (ESCNJ), the largest educational services commission in the state, has  appointed Anthony La Marco as Assistant School Business Administrator for Business Operations.


“Mr. La Marco is an outstanding addition to our team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience,” said ESCNJ Business Administrator Pat Moran. “His experience and skillsets in dealing with both governmental and educational entities will be beneficial as we continue to grow and provide additional services to our students and through the Shared Services Program.”


La Marco joins ESCNJ with more than 20 years of experience in both the educational and business arena. In his new role,  he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Commission and make specific recommendations to enhance and enrich the services provided by the Commission. 


“I look forward to working with the team at ESCNJ, learning the daily operations and providing valuable input to further enhance the quality of service that is provided,” La Marco said.  “ESCNJ provides a wealth of robust services to so many districts around the state, and I am fortunate to be joining such a respected organization.”


La Marco began his career as an audit supervisor in the public accounting field managing financial and operational audits for various Municipal, Board of Education and other non-profit entities. After leaving the public accounting field and before coming to ESCNJ, he was hired as the Senior Accountant and internally promoted to become the Assistant School Business Administrator for the Bernards Township Board of Education.
